When resilience becomes intentional, engagement becomes inevitable.
Ross Boyd MBE helps senior leaders build organisations that perform under pressure without burning out. He equips C-suite and senior leadership teams to strengthen individual resilience, increase engagement and create cultures capable of sustained high performance in demanding environments.
A former infantry officer and three-time combat veteran, Ross led soldiers on operational tours before moving into senior roles in financial services, including Chief of Staff to a CEO and building a digital bank within a major UK bank. After experiencing burnout himself, he retrained as a business psychologist, completing an MSc in Business Psychology and grounding his work in both lived experience and research.
Ross is the founder of The Credo Contingent, where he works across keynote speaking, executive coaching, leadership assessment and team development. His research into resilience and workplace engagement found that individual resilience predicts 28% of overall engagement, rising to almost 60% in high-pressure contexts. This research reinforces a simple truth: the grittier the work, the more critical resilience becomes.
Ross works with C-suite and senior leaders in ambitious organisations navigating growth, transformation and sustained operational pressure. His focus is clear: build resilience, increase ownership and create cultures where people consistently perform at their best.
Straight-talking, evidence-based and human, Ross combines military leadership, commercial experience and psychology to deliver insights that are credible, practical and immediately usable.
